I have to raise my hand and confess the truth; I often have a hard time passing up what looks to be a pretty amazing deal. Yes, I know the better deal is to keep the money in your pocket – I’ve been reminded. But, you do end up empty-handed! Sometimes you just need a little retail therapy. The problem is there are so many e-Retailers, especially international, it’s hard to know where to begin. Let me save you some trouble with one of them. From all I see so far, Romwe is good to go! So far, first-hand experience, their clothes are good quality and very ‘of-the-moment.’ The bonus for me is the prices at Romwe. They are ah-mazing. It is affordable for nearly everyone. I love to mix low and high end pieces and challenge myself to create stylish looks. I’m definitely adding Romwe to my list of shopping sites to help me with create fun looks while keeping some my coins in my bank account.
Let me give you this heads up; if you are browsing their site on your mobile it can feel never-ending. I didn’t want to use the search function because I didn’t want to miss anything. Sometimes I don’t know what I’m looking for, I just have a set budget (which I think is the key for someone like me so I don’t get into trouble) and I browse and shop until I’ve hit the budget. With that being said, do yourself a favor and grab yourself a tablet or *gasp* hop on a laptop while navigating the site. There is a lot to see!
I love the dresses and the tops the most. I will not even attempt to buy pants from an international site. I have enough problems with US sizing since I’m not straight up-and-down. Back to the dresses and tops though. It is so easy to go overboard. There is an abundance of on-trend items. Romwe is a good site to use for occasions like shopping for a few items for a quick getaway or date night (hello #outfitofthenight) looks. I measured myself to be certain I ordered the right size. One bad experience with another retailer taught me it’s worth the hassle to pull out the tape. I was so excited to receive this gorgeous, hot pink, off-the-shoulder dress. I started dreaming up all sorts of ideas to pair with the color but for the first wear I decided to stick with the pink palette. I say this with all humility, I received soooo many compliments on this dress. It does not look nearly as inexpensive as it is. Let me take a second to drop a qualifier here – while I may wear something inexpensive, it CANNOT look low-quality. That is not easy to do. Often times you get what you pay for. Don’t get me wrong the dress didn’t look expensive either – it just didn’t look like a $12 dress, which surprised me.
No matter what, I think you can always expect at least a three week wait, at minimum, for shipping. If you are in a rush, I would say figure out a different option.
If this color is too bold, there are other options – and other variations of this off-the-shoulder look. I just could not resist the laser cut detailing and the bold pink color. I hope you have a great experience with Romwe if you give them a try.
