Lace shell

The femininity of a lace shell has such incredible appeal. It is equal parts sweet and alluring; romantic and sexy. The lace shell is one of my favorite pieces for the workplace. I love that is not too "buttoned up" yet still provides a chic shell alternative. It looks amazing worn by itself and just as great worn with a contrasting jacket.

Although it is painful to have to go through it if I don't have help, I love this particular shell because it buttons up the back. I hate pulling tops over my big head and wide shoulders. It's more work than buttoning up the shell!

I also love to wear this shell with my "nude suit," a very tailored jacket and skirt, when the weather is not at a suffocating temperature.
