Fit and Flare

One of my favorite summer styles. Fun. Flirty. Flattering. The fit and flare dress is a staple in my wardrobe and I have many in all styles and colors in heavy rotation. Fit and flare dresses are also easy transition pieces; layer on a duster or a cute blazer and you are all set in the event you need to have a more complete or polished look.

Some of my favorites are by French Connection, MICHAEL Michael Kors, Elizabeth James and DVF. I get so excited to find a great sale on the latter two.

My opinion, less is more with the fit and flare dress. It doesn't take much to make the dress look great. The structure and design  of the dress speaks for itself. I've linked several very cute alternatives below, as well as some options for the amazingly comfortable platform heels pictured.
