Spring and summer…the perfect time of year to switch a few things up in my life. It signals a time to temporarily shelf some of my old favorite things and try to find some new favorites for the season. There are some changes that are huge for me and difficult for me to make. The make-up, easy, it’s a no-brainer. Nail polish? Check, done! Wardrobe…of course canNOT wait! My fragrance…that is when it always gets sticky. I like what I like. I find a couple of scents and they become my signature for way too long. This year I have been so committed to finding a summer fragrance (or several) to add to my rotation of scents to become a part of my “signature.”
What began as a mixture of dread yet anticipation in pursuit of said summer fragrance turned into a fun experience once I spotted a very familiar, clean and minimalist fragrance display. I had a basic idea of what I wanted. The fragrance had to remind me of the beach or a vacation getaway (a fresh scent) or it had to be slightly sweet yet clean. The display – to be specific, the Jo Malone display – turned out to be just what I needed. Over 20 amazing combinations of unique scents, from citrus to spicy (which smell amazing layered, by the way) to please almost any palette. Including mine.
I am so glad I became reaquainted with Jo Malone. I used to wear the Wild Fig and Cassis scent before it was discontinued. LOVED it. It did not take long before I became obsessed with another Jo Malone scent – Nectarine Blossom and Honey. Oh. My. Goodness. Pure deliciousness. It sounds like it is very fruity and very sweet. It’s neither. It is a perfect balance with undertones of peach and black currant. An amazing scent and my new summer fragrance obsession. In order my other favorites are Peony & Blush Suede and Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Just good stuff ladies (and gents)!
Get you some Jo Malone in your life and all the special ladies in your life would love and thank you to be the recipient of some of this goodness. Linked below. #Worthit
