Sweater Weather

We are officially 17 days away from winter and there is not a hint of snow on the horizon. I know I need to be careful of what I say - I definitely don’t want to put it into the universe. I am making the most of and enjoying, hashtag “sweater weather.” But! This is b-a-n-a-n-a-s (guess how many times I checked the spelling)! The temperature has been pushing 60 degrees plus in the Midwest no less, so I get to rock the heck out of all of my sweater weather favorites lately.

There is nothing like spending a weekend outdoors in late November, early December without the restriction of a coat. I bounce between being too warm, taking the jacket off and being too cold and putting the jacket back on. It’s a nuisance. I’m sure this sweater weather is short lived but I am going to make the most of it. In the meantime, I have been grabbing my partner in crime (who is also my trusty Instagram hubby) to make the most of iced coffees, shopping excursions and warm, extended date days/nights. It will be back to hibernation again soon though. The weather is forecasted to drop and it will be officially “heavy coat” weather in a day or two. Cue a long sigh.

I know for some people it doesn’t feel like the holidays at all, unless there is snow and a heavy coat included with the sweater (smile). This is how I know I am supposed to live in the South.
