Embellished sweatshirt

When I first thought about the phrase "embellished sweatshirt" I had visions of glue guns, sparkly gems and a miniature rhinestones explosion! Such small thinking on my part - although nothing is wrong with a few well-placed stones. Although there is something for everyone, I love the idea of the new embellishments; I'm talking lace and mesh insets, studs, foil print and patterns, applique at the collar or bordering the shoulders...I could go on but I think you get the full picture by now.

A plain old sweatshirt in itself is ultra comfy. However, make it an embellished sweatshirt and you've got a winning combination of comfy-chic and glam. Something that looks as fab with jeans and high heels as it does with a fit-and-flare skirt or tapered, ankle pants. Simple details that go a long way in creating an effortless look. Another fun way to describe that look is luxe and laid back, it just depends on how embellished the sweatshirt is.
