Monochrome gray

I love creating monochromatic looks. I have the most fun with gray and white because it's always fun to figure out the accent on the look. I also love to work with tonal looks in shades of nude and peach. I like the contrast with my skin tone. But right now it is all about monochrome gray style.

Saturating a look with shades of gray is effortless. It looks crisp and it is a color most of us can pull off. I love denim - I could live in denim. However it would be just as easy to swap the denim jeans in this look with a pair of slim ankle pants or tailored cropped pants for a more sleek, monochrome gray look for the work place.

My only piece of style advice when rocking any monochrome look is keep it simple. Notice I did not add gray or silver bangles and rings on top of my bold necklace. Can you say overkill? Because of the intensity of the tonal look, when it comes to accessorizing (including your heels), less is more.
