Cold Shoulder Dress
I believe I have found something I like just a wee bit better than sundresses, but only when I want to class myself up a bit. I am not quite sure why the cold shoulder dress trend was not a hit with me initially. It's not too trendy - that is not it. It is a style that has been around for a long time in one form or another. No matter, I am now loving it. I especially love the trapeze/shift style cold shoulder dress.
If I have an unforgiving lunch or I'm just a little bloated, I can hide all my sins under the dress but still be a bit flirtatious with the peek-a-boo shoulders and just above-the-knee hemline. Of course the cold shoulder dresses with a gathered waist or body conscious fit are just as flattering. It all depends on the wearer, the occasion and the comfort level.
I love the bright color of the cold shoulder dress I happened to stumble on by Romeo & Juliet Couture. Currently it is on sale and sizes are limited. If you want it, you better hurry. I also found a very pretty neutral color, gray, by Ramy Brook. I am seldom in flats, though I own them, but this is a dress that looks adorable with the ankle wrap flats that are very popular right now. I am embrace my inner diva: all heels, most of the time. Besides, since I was not born with the extra 3" or 4" in length, I just wear them every day.
Expect to see lots of my bony shoulders this spring/summer loves. I'm loving the look - how about you? xx
