Off-the-shoulder

I am going to try not to go overboard on the off-the-shoulder look that is all the rage. Unless the top or the dress is too cute to pass up (or the price is just too right to not to "add to cart") my goal is not to have a closet full of this style staple.

However when I saw this striped, off-the-shoulder top, I could visualize several styling options with some very cute skirts and colorful denim jeans I own. I knew right away I was going to buy the top. The only thing that would have made me change my mind was if the top fit poorly or if it would not stay put, riding up my shoulders constantly rather than staying off my shoulders. I've tried on some of the denim looks and other styles that fit like I imagine a potato sack would - very bulky and heavy looking. Nothing flattering. At all.

My only complaint - and it is a small one - is it wrinkles pretty easily. There is an alternate navy color exclusive to Gap.com. If you like it, hurry before they sell out online, or get to a Gap store near you. I personally think you'll love the addition to your wardrobe. xx
