Best Statement Necklaces
I am feeling pretty encouraged by all the fun baubles and necklace trends for the Spring and Summer. This is the time of year I get very antsy and start my inspo board for the upcoming seasons. I like to add a few key pieces that look amazing as the centerpiece of an outfit and one or two that look stylish with multiple outfits. I've put together a round-up of some of the best statement necklaces for both of those goals, because "sharing is caring" and the ladies have to look out for one another!
While I am a fiend for the color black and a chic all-black look, I LOVE color. More specifically I love to play with bold colors and create some unexpected contrasts with statement necklaces. While that is my personal style, these necklaces are extremely versatile. They would love amazing with black and equally flattering with bold or neutral colors.
There is something about the fringed choker necklace from Anthropologie that leaves me swooning. I think of all these it is my favorite. As I lust back-and-forth over it and think "should I?" I am beginning to think it is the drama of the necklace. It's definitely a stand-alone piece.
I'm really digging the multi-strand beaded necklaces also. I've added several colors to my collection. They are so vibrant and fun to dress down with skinnies or easily class my look up a bit for the office. These necklaces will be in heavy rotation, I highly suggest a couple of your favorite colors. Kenneth Jay Lane make a version with mini-globes that give a cluster effect. My description does no justice, you just have to check it out, LOL.
The necklace by Uncommon Goods is so cool because it is made with aluminum knitting needles. I love the re-purposing of the needles. The colors of each aluminum needle are fanned out in their full vibrancy. The whimsy of this one easily makes it one of the best statement necklaces of the bunch.
Of course, take your time and check out the others I've curated. Accessories like this are such an easy way to refresh your wardrobe without breaking the bank. I love fashion as much as anyone but it's not what I consider an investment. I like little tips like these to complement my style throughout the seasons.
