Grey – one of my favorite neutral colors still tops the list of in-demand colors this fall. It would not have mattered to me if grey made the list or not, I’ve got an entire grey scale lookbook of timeless inspirations and styles. While I do love a punch of color – there is something about the chic and crisp look of grey in my wardrobe that makes me feel like I’m not compromising.
Sometimes it can be a challenge to find and create a complete grey scale look that does not appear too buttoned up or prim (that is the least offensive description I could come up with). If I feel I’m headed in that direction I break up the look and add black, tan or maybe a pop of color.
In what I have coined my “grey scale lookbook,” I have collected some staple pieces for the fall that are worth sharing.

Check out some of my favorites, it was hard to narrow it down…
What fall color from 2014 are you glad returned this year? Would it matter if it didn’t make the cut? Are you like me and you’d wear it anyway?
