Sleeveless Vee Top

Call me a fairly recent convert to the sleeveless vee top. At least the grown up version of the sleeveless vee. I never want to look too polished or too corporate and for some reason this type of sleeveless vee top gave me that vibe. Don't get me wrong, I love a sleek suit or a well-tailored dress. However more often than not, anything I wear has to have a bit of what I call "edge appeal."

Rather than hide this amazing-colored, sleeveless vee top underneath some suit (which I may still succumb to next Spring), I could not resist the dichotomy of styling it with oversized, distressed denim. I don't wear my boyfriend jeans a lot. I love them, but I am curvy, so I don't always feel they flatter my shape. When I wear this type of jeans it's usually with a sweatshirt and sneakers for a completely low key look. In this case, I love them with the top because it is a bit oversize as well.

A pointer for you if you happen to invest in this particular top; buy one size down. It runs large especially in the torso area.
