Statement Tee

In terms of the weather this has been one insane week for the Midwest. We've gone from a low of 20 degrees to a high of 75 degrees, all in the span of five days. I'm used to the inconsistency, but this weather has driven me b-a-n-a-n-a-n-a-s! The weekend has given us a gift though, the weather has been gorgeous! I'm talking iced coffee on the patio and your favorite mirrored sunnies, gorgeous. In the words of my statement tee, it has been quite "dope!"

I love a good statement tee. There are so many brands designing the latest in pop culture catchphrases and obsessions on tees that perfectly sum up my 'mood' at any given moment. It's hard to keep up. I've been saying "dope" for years. If I am feeling very enthusiastic about something, it is anointed "dope!" When I saw this statement tee I knew it was meant for me. It's a guy's tee that has been shrunken a bit. Maybe intentionally, maybe not! *wink* It is definitely mine now and I love to wear it with something slightly over-the-top, like this bib necklace. I still love wearing lots of bangles, it doesn't matter to me if it is on trend or not. At times I like to rock the minimalist, arm candy look and other times I think 'pile it on!'

So my statement tee is not too bulky, I knotted the back. This is probably more an early evening, weekend look...but who cares? I've linked some very similar options for you below.
