Work-Friendly Outfits
Now that the chilly weather is firmly behind us, I've been feeling a bit more inspired with my outfits for the office. No matter how hard I tried, I could not keep my enthusiasm up for cold-weather dressing. I am ready now though. With ease I am mixing and matching work-friendly outfits which perfectly suit my style. I would describe my office style as 'polished, but not too buttoned up.'
I like my arms - I've been working on them for the past year. That is one reason I decided to wear this vest with a tank top versus a short-sleeved top or under a jacket. The other reason is I prefer a non-traditional look, as safe as possible, for work-friendly outfits. I walk a fine line at work. I want to be who I am and be comfortable with the clothes I wear. I definitely don't want to spend good money on clothes I don't love. But, in a leadership position I not only influence the dress policy I end up enforcing it. I can only "let my hair down" so much LOL, but it's all good!
I think this blue vest would be so pretty paired with coral pants and a coral tank top (I am still searching for the right texture). The other combination I am itching to try is black - just because it is a stark departure.
I usually opt for dresses during the warmer months for work-friendly outfits but I love a good ankle-fit pant. When I find a good quality and fit, I buy them in several colors. That is the exact case with the pair I am wearing in these pictures. I've linked them below, along with other outfit details, below the pictures. Thanks for hanging and connecting, friends! xx-C
